In this Flanders Make project we developped an application in Unity that allows a process engineer to easily generate work instructions for a CAD file to assist an operator during assembly.
In this Flanders Make project we developped an application in Unity that allows a process engineer to easily generate work instructions for a CAD file to assist an operator during assembly.
The overall project goal is to create an economically feasible user-centred Augmented Reality application methodology for flexible assembly and inspection operations in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment. I worked on object and keypoint detection algorithms to facilitate state tracking.
This was an FWO project that explored the many applications of wide angle cameras on Drones. I worked on using vision algorithms to automatically direct wide angle video streams.
The overall goal of the project is to create an intuitive, easy to use, and fast robot programming environment, based on VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), MR (Mixed Reality), or their combination that will serve fast and accurate programming of industrial robots in a flexible manufacturing plant for low volume and high variability production.
