The goal of the project was Omnidirectional camera design, Visual-based autonomous navigation and object detection, Efficient dedicated hardware and Context-aware communication. To enable the entire value chain for a broad and fragmented UAV market, the approach was to focus on four valorization application cases: Traffic Monitoring, Video Broadcasting, Inspection, and Security and Surveillance. Our role in the project was to write algorithms to automatically process multiple wide-angle video streams to automatically direct these to generate a visually pleasing video sequence. Project Website
