About Me
I am a PhD student at the University of Hasselt in Belgium. I have just started the third year of my PhD. The goal of my thesis is to find out how we can train computer vision models on synthetically generated images. Manually creating datasets is a cumbersome and slow process that can lead to error prone or biassed datasets. Synthetic data can solve some of these problems, but it also introduces new problems. I hope that by solving some of these problems during my PhD Computer Vision algorithms can be made much more accessable for all types of applications. My supervisors are Nick Michiels and Frank Van Reeth.
I also do research on automatically directing multi-view video feeds to create interesting video sequences.
Feel free to reach out to me for collaboration.
